About Us
From Project to Program...

MRI Studios Inc began in 2018 as two separate fiscally sponsored projects, each working towards a common goal of promoting early exploration and development in the genres of music composition, performance, and media production. Developed by Media Rhythm Institute LLC (MRI), these arts and entertainment community based projects , were created as a needs based solution which expanded the company's established school based programming and duplicated these programs with partners in the community, making them more accessible to youth and young adults regardless of location, enrollment status, and age. The need for this duplication came out of the demand from young artists to have consistent access to the tools needed to pursue their careers and the lack of continuity in resources.

In 2021, MRI Studios became an official stand alone nonprofit continuing and expanding the work of its's mission.

MRI Studios Inc is a non-profit organization promoting the artistic growth, entrepreneurial development, and overall advancement of young and emerging music and media creatives through accessible and equitable platforms for learning, sustainability, and wholeness.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a diverse and inclusive arts ecosystem where every artist, regardless of status, identity, or background has the opportunity to achieve potential, flourish as a creative professional, and thrive in communities where their voice is valued and heard. We envision a future where creative expression through music and media is a powerful tool for conversation, reflection, and personal and social transformation.
